COVID-19 SHIPPING UPDATES

Certain products purchased during this time may be delayed due to business interruptions due to local regulations regarding the Coronavirus. RickRak is not responsible for delays caused by the Carrier. We are doing our best to estimate any potential delays in shipments and appreciate your patience and understanding at this time.

Note: Because of size and weight of shipping package, RickRaks, Combo Kits & Bags, Biker Bar are not included in Free Shipping offer. Products eligible for Free Shipping are to domestic United States destinations.

International Orders: RickRak.com currently ships to over 120 countries around the world. Please note it is your responsibility to know the laws of your country in terms of International duties. RickRak is not responsible for any tariffs or customs regulations. Please check with your customs office.

We ship internationally on daily basis to several countries using insured and fast services like UPS WorldWide Expedited and USPS Priority & Express. Due to our volume and automation systems we cannot take requests for a customer preferred shipping carrier. We have large amount of experience shipping cost effectively and efficiently all over the globe and will ship to almost any country.

We declare all international purchases as “Motorcycle Parts” (HS# 871410 Motorcycles (including mopeds); parts and accessories) in case you need to check with your local customs authority for current import duties in your country.

 

RESTRICTED COUNTRIES

Unfortunately there are a few countries we are unable to ship to due to the difficulty of shipping process:

  • Sudan
  • Syria
  • Iraq
  • Russia
 

DELIVERY TIME

10-25 days to most international destinations; all parts we sell are GENUINE & NEW OEM PARTS that we are an authorized dealer for, and we get directly from the manufacturers. It takes us 2-5 days to receive parts from the manufacturer and then ship them out to you. Manufacturers do not drop ship parts directly to end customers; they only ship to authorized dealerships like us.

PAYMENT

PayPal, Amazon Pay and Square are the ONLY methods of payment for international orders, the safest payment methods for you and us, and they allow you to use your international credit card or bank account to pay for your order without exposing their numbers or any other private information. We do not directly accept international issued credit cards because we cannot verify the billing information on them. 

CUSTOMS BROKERAGE, & DUTIES

The customer is responsible for the import duties and value added taxes (VAT) which will be collected by UPS, USPS, & DHL at the time of delivery by cash, check, or charge. We declare all international purchases as “Motorcycle Parts” (HS# 871410 Motorcycles (including mopeds); parts and accessories) in case you need to check with your local customs authority for current import duties in your country. Under U.S. Customs laws it is illegal for anyone to declare a value on a package that does not match an original commercial invoice from the point of origin. We will NOT make special consideration or ship parts as “GIFT”. This is the law and will only cause issues for your package clearing customs, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Canadian Customers

We ship to Canada everyday! We ship USPS, & UPS for rate, time and insurance purposes.  Please note, because Canada is such a large country that sometimes we have to ship orders via US Postal Service because UPS & DHL may not have the ability to deliver.

However, customers are responsible for payment of duties and taxes. When funds are not provided in advance by the customer, and courier must post a bond to allow shipments to be released in advance of payment to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), a fee of 2.7 percent (minimum $10 on UPS Worldwide Expedited) of the amount advanced by courier will be charged. The fee will be listed under “brokerage fees” field when you receive the duties and taxes bill.

Goods and Services Tax:
 All Canadians are subject to a minimum 5% goods and services tax (GST) from the CBSA on orders imported into Canada that exceed $20 CAN in value.

Harmonized Sales Tax:
 If you live in New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador or Nova Scotia the CBSA will charge you 13% harmonized sales tax (HST) on orders over $20 CAN.

Provincial Sales Tax:
 If you live in British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec or Saskatchewan you must pay the applicable rate of sales tax for the province in which the goods are delivered. Certain imported goods may not be subject to PST in your specific province. Please call the CBSA for more details at 1-800-461-9999 or in French at 1-800-959-2036.

All amounts must be paid at the time of delivery (by cash, certified cheque, VISA, MasterCard or your Canada Post commercial account).

Items shipped via US Postal Mail get handed off to Canada Post and do not go through the CBSA directly. All US Postal Service to Canada Post shipments are subject to an additional $5 CAN to $8 CAN shipping handling fee charged by Canada Post to Canadian citizens and do not carry our delivery guarantee of UPS & FedEx 5 business day shipment. In some cases items shipped via US Postal Service to Canada Post can take up to 2 weeks to deliver and carry limited tracking ability and insurances.

USPS has suspeneded First Class and Priority Mail International shipments we offer UPS International for shipping.

BRAZIL

The Secretariat of the Federal Revenue of Brazil requires your CPF # or Brazilian Individual Tax Registry # (ITR) in order to properly asses Simplified Taxation Regime (RTS). We declare all international purchases as “Motorcycle Parts” (HS# 871410 Motorcycles (including mopeds); parts and accessories) in case you need to check with your local customs authority for current import duties in your country. Under U.S. Customs laws it is illegal for anyone to declare a value on a package that does not match an original commercial invoice from the point of origin. We will NOT make special consideration or ship parts as “GIFT”. This is the law and will only cause issues for your package clearing customs, NO EXCEPTIONS.

30 Day Return/Exchange Policy

RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER must be issued before any returns or exchanges can be made. We will not accept any returns without this number. Please write this number clearly on the outside of the returning package. All returns must be received by RickRak within 30 days from date of shipment. The Return Authorization Number does not imply a replacement or refund, but only that we will inspect the merchandise based on your claim. Returns must be sent freight prepaid and insured by you. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. A photo copy of your invoice showing the invoice number must accompany your return along with a written explanation and a contact phone number where we may be able to reach you. It is the responsibility of the customer/installer to verify the correctness of size and application of the parts before installation. All approved refunds will be paid by either Company Check, credit Card Credit, or Account Credit, all to be determined by RickRak. No cancellations, refunds, or exchanges on special order items or custom order items will be allowed. In order for a returned item to be accepted, the returned item must be in its original condition (no damage) and returned in its original packaging. Product must be in new condition. No return or exchange on merchandise that shows signs of having been installed, mounted, scratched, or defaced will be allowed. We recommend to everyone who purchases a windshield to take the protective coating off ONLY WHEN THEY ARE CONFIDENT THE PRODUCT IS RIGHT FOR THEM. If protective coating on windshield is removed, no refund will be given. Items that receive Free Shipping and are returned will be subject to a Shipping Fee to cover the original shipping costs. All returns are subject to a Repackaging Fee if items returned are missing any components or requires repackaging. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. FeeClaims for missing, lost or damaged packages must be made within 48 hours of receipt of shipment.
