My wife and I had a week long trip planned, with a group of friends all on bikes, to Washington DC. I had this bag for a while but had not needed to use it. This week long trip was the trip to test it. I told my wife to back whatever she wanted. We are seasoned touring riders and we pack accordingly..
My fear was that on my black luggage rack, the attachment points on the bag would cause damage. That WAS NOT the case! The rubber legs on the hooks and foam pads on the clamps protected the luggage rack’s finish AND once the lock is installed and locked, it cannot make contact with the tour pack! Well engineered!
When we got to our hotel and I removed the bag from the bike, extended the handle, and started rolling the bag toward the hotel lobby..my friends, who are all seasoned touring riders, we’re amazed!
The only thing a caution you about is to make sure you remove the foam blocks from the clamps and store them in a side pocket of the bag so you don’t loose them.
Yes, the system is a bit pricey…..WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

1st impression review:
Just received my combo yesterday. In 2 days from NC to PA, with the regular shipping option.
The bag seems to be very well thought out, and appointed. The fitment is perfect. For reference; I have a Hogworkz King TourPak with rack. As far as I know; it specs out exactly as the OEM. I was smiling ear to ear, as I mounted this thing up for the 1st time. It took me maybe :20 seconds, seriously. And rock solid. I’ve never had or seen a bag mount up this quickly and securely. Yep, it’s a big bag. But not ridiculously big. Actually looks great on the bike, and in scale. All zippers operate flawlessly. The overall construction of the bag is top tier, as it should be… this sucker was not cheap. The price tag is not for the faint of heart, but if you’re like most; and have been through multiple bags with straps, bungees, cargo nets, etc…
And checking and readjusting your gear at every stop,
This is definitely the answer.
I will update my review after our weeklong trip to NH & ME.
But I am very pleased, initially.

We just got home from our annual “We ❤️ the Kanc” ride in New Hampshire….I received our new ‘RickRak Roller Bag Combo’ tour bag on wheels about four days prior to our trip. It’s just like a carry on, but bigger, stronger, cooler and with a quick release mount for Harley luggage racks. PLUS, it locks directly to the tourpack rack! It is so easy to use.
No more bungees to hold your luggage down (especially if you stop to eat and wonder if your bag will still be on your bike when you come out of the restaurant).
Lots of storage, extra pockets and very well made. NOT cheap, but if you travel a lot, well worth it. We will never travel again without it.

After searching everywhere, watching YouTube vids, I had to have the roller bag combo. Already had purchased and installed the saddle bag lid leather protectors (excellent product) so purchased this bag for our 2019 CVO Limited .
Bag and components are made extremely well!
There is tons of room.
It is sooo easy to install and remove. It literally takes seconds for each.
First trip out (2k miles), had rain and used the rain cover. It came off somewhere (elastic gather at bottom only). Sent an email when we returned home and they sent out a replacement cover immediately. No charge.

I brought the roller bag combo kit for the Road King after seeing it on the Million Dollar Bogan vlogs (aka Daniel Hayes) and him going on about it all the time (recommended it). There’s 21 of us doing a 15 day ride so thought it would be perfect for that. So we got it shipped to Australia used it on a overnight ride to try it out before the big trip. It fits perfectly on the top box. The quality of the bag is excellent. We even got to try out the rain cover you guessed it the bag stayed dry. I highly recommend the bag. The only negative is the bag isn’t sold in Australia, the postage is a killer and pushed the bag over $1000.
